Ashby Development was founded by Jere Ashby, a fourth-generation Pacific Palisades native whose roots in the community run as deep as his commitment to it.
Jere Ashby is a Los Angeles-based real estate development professional with nearly a decade of experience across the full development lifecycle, from site acquisition and entitlements through construction management and asset stabilization. Specializing in ground-up mixed-use development, complex capital structuring, and large-scale community revitalization, Jere has built his career at the intersection of institutional rigor and deep local market expertise across some of Los Angeles’ most dynamic coastal submarkets. A fourth-generation Pacific Palisades native and USC Real Estate Development graduate, he honed his craft at one of Southern California’s most respected mission-driven development organizations before founding Ashby Development LLC, where he oversaw complex capital formations, managed construction programs, and led projects from inception through delivery. He currently leads commercial development and infrastructure recovery efforts across the Palisades, directing institutional capital partnerships with some of the country’s leading financial institutions and community development organizations. Jere holds a B.S. in Real Estate Development from the USC Price School of Public Policy.

In his tenure at Harbor Capital, Will has sourced, transacted, and closed over $100 million in industrial transactions. Prior to Harbor, he spent over two years as an Investment Associate at Stonelake Capital Partners, where he managed a 6.7 million square foot industrial portfolio across Austin, Phoenix, and El Paso, leading the acquisition of 1.57 million square feet and the development of 3.8 million square feet of Class A industrial product. He began his career as a Capital Markets Analyst at Newmark, underwriting and marketing over $775 million in institutional assets across the western United States. Will holds a BBA in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at UT Austin and is a member of the university’s Real Estate Center Developing Leader Program.
